Once upon a time Shree Uma Shiva Kshetra, a holy place, which was known for its charitable services, served the purpose of rest house for the benefit of travelers, when they were traveling through this place.

As the time elapsed, this place lost importance due to land reform acts and lack of good management and also due to inadequate financial resources. It was in a totally ignored state for quite a long time. As a result the building was in a totally collapsing stage and the Kupluchar family, heriditary trustees of this holy property, decided to hand it over to the able guidence of Hosanagar Math.

His holiness, the pontiff of the Hosanagar math, Shree Shree Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji (Pontiff), accepted this and magnanimously decided to renovate this holy place with the wholehearted cooperation of public and his disciples. For this task, he constituted a set of working body of trustees who are dedicated for this noble cause of rejuvenating this holy place as a place of worship and charity. For this, they are looking for the generous contributions from all the people. This holy task is possible only with the kind cooperation of all the devotees .
